Stacey Petrower, Chief Operating Officer, NY Presbyterian/Hudson Valley Hospital was our speaker today. Over the years, this hospital has become an asset to the community. Stacey told us that it is the only hospital to be affiliated with two teaching hospitals, Columbia and NY Presbyterian. They are expanding their Cancer care, improving the maternity, neurology and other units. The nurses are accredited through the magnet program and this writer can attest to the excellent patient care. There was a discussion and question and answer period; for more info check out their website at http://www.hvhc.org/
